Tech Prep needs employers who will be involved at levels that are correct for them. Some ways that employers can become involved include hosting field trips, participating in career fairs, making classroom presentations to students, and becoming involved in job shadowing and mentoring, sponsoring internships and co-operative learning opportunities. Tech Prep also needs employers to participate in committees and to serve as sponsors of Tech Prep Texas Scholars and the Dr. Lauro F. Cavazos Tech Prep Scholarships.
